Summary
A demonstration district plan linking theatre, library, and open-air performance grounds with a shared graphic language.
Context
Axis Cultural District coordinates public space, building envelopes, and communication design along a former harbour spine. The project treats the district as a continuous field of movement, pause, and orientation.
Challenge
Three independent institutions needed a coherent public realm strategy without homogenizing their distinct architectural characters or governance structures.
Concept
We defined a district axis with shared paving, lighting, and planting rules, then developed a flexible identity system using modular wordmarks and institution-specific colour accents derived from each façade palette.
Outcomes
The demonstration framework offers a replicable method for stitching together cultural assets through spatial rhythm and graphic consistency rather than uniform architecture.
